             Jack Roeser, Founder

Jack is the founder of the Illinois Republican Renaissance PAC and is a successful entrepreneur, inventor, sailor and philanthropist. He is Chairman and founder of Otto Engineering Inc., in Carpentersville, a multi-million dollar enterprise, that manufactures electronic control and communication switches for aerospace, medical and industrial uses.

Jack previously started three other successful businesses which are now owned by large corporations. In 1991, Jack was selected as "High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year" in Illinois and was chosen as an Outstanding Alumnus of the University of Illinois in 1996.

Jack is a Pi Tau Sigma honors graduate of the University of Illinois in Mechanical Engineering and has received over 50 patents in Electrical, Mechanical, Machinery and Marine products.

For the past 25 years, Jack has been an advocate of education reform through the application of free market principles and of school choice. Jack's commitment to a high quality public education system led to the founding of the Family Taxpayers Network (FTN). The FTF's raises public awareness of abuses within the public education system and strives to influence public opinion in favor of solutions that will bring about real reform, which include, the effective use of tax dollars by local and state government.

Throughout his life-time, Jack has supported principled candidates that have a true desire to bring integrity back to Illinois politics.

Jack enlisted in the Army in 1942 and served in the Combat Engineers in the South Pacific.

In 1994, he ran for Governor in the Republican primary, receiving 26% of the primary vote. He also served by appointment on Governor Edgar's Education Transition Team and Lamar Alexander's Education 2000 in Illinois.

Jack lives in Barrington Illinois with his wife Jeannine, and when he is not busy fighting the Illinois political machine, he enjoys sport sailing and sailing competitions. Jack and his sailing team have have won the Chicago to Mackinac race among many other races.

Jack also founded Champion News Network which publishes an online political magazine. Jack alsos hosts a weekend political talk show on WIND 560am. The show which airs Sunday morning from 8 am-9 am Central is archived on Champion News.

Today, Jack's legacy, Otto Engineering is run by his son. The facilities are housed in a beautifully renovated campus on the east and west banks of the Fox River. Last year, Otto had over 500 employees and annual sales of over $79 million.
